Whitespace Work Software are delighted to announce that we have completed a successful integration of our Whitespace Mobile solution and Chevin’s FleetWave fleet management software to improve and streamline the vehicle checks process at Ashfield District Council.
The integration allows the crews to complete their daily walkaround vehicle checks on a mobile device using Whitespace Mobile. Once completed, the vehicle check is automatically recorded in FleetWave and in case of a defect – a job card is initiated for the engineers.
This allows the engineers to know about the defect in advance and prepare for the vehicle to come in and carry out the work. The crew have an easy way to record and send all the information required for the engineers to repair the problem and can rest assured that their vehicle will be back on the road quicker.
