Integrated Vehicle Tracking
Our system supports integration with a wide range of industry-standard telematics and tracking providers. Through this, live vehicle locations and historic movements (displayed as ‘snail trails’) can be overlaid directly onto the Round Progress Map Page.
This provides a clear view of:
- Current vehicle positions
- Completed route history
- Crew proximity to new or uncompleted jobs
This insight helps supervisors reallocate work dynamically based on live traffic conditions and vehicle location, enhancing efficiency and reducing response times.

Camera Integration
Whitespace also supports direct integration with vehicle camera systems. Through this, live and recorded footage can be viewed directly within the platform — helping crews and supervisors resolve issues with confidence and accuracy.
Key features include:
- Live display of up to 4 camera feeds
- Option to expand a specific camera view
- Auto-pause after 60 seconds to minimise unnecessary streaming — with manual resume if needed
- Footage download available for incident reports, missed bins, and evidence gathering
Powerful When Paired with Tracking
When camera and tracking integrations are used together, users can select a point on a vehicle’s snail trail and instantly access footage from that exact time and location. This avoids hours of manual searching and allows teams to quickly investigate reports such as:
- “Bin not presented”
- Missed collections
- Claims involving third parties
