Whitespace’s HWRC Management Portal is designed to help councils and contractors optimise container movements at Household Waste Recycling Centres. By ensuring containers are only moved when they reach the right fill levels, you can cut unnecessary mileage, improve vehicle utilisation, and prevent overspill or long queues.
How It Works
- Real-Time Monitoring: Site staff record container fill levels through a simple mobile app (iOS and Android), which feeds directly into the central logistics system.
- Central Oversight: Logistics teams see container status across all sites in real time, raising work orders only when needed.
- Seamless Dispatching: Work orders are sent automatically—by email to third-party operators or directly to drivers via the mobile app.
- Driver Visibility: Jobs are allocated based on live vehicle tracking and status, ensuring efficient use of every trip.
- End-to-End Workflow: From collection to disposal, drivers receive and complete jobs on their app, including weighbridge details. If disposal sites are unavailable, temporary drop-offs can be logged with ease.
